SOCIAL GROUPS

PLEASE NOTE in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have cancelled all group outings (e.g. bus outings), and activities (e.g. Art, Vital Moves) until further notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused however the health and safety of our clients, staff and volunteers is paramount.

We will provide updates here on on our Facebook page. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We host a range of social groups most days of the week, and at various venues. These groups enable people to remain socially connected, meet new friends, enjoy a meal with others and in some cases participate in an activity (art, exercise, see a movie etc).

On Monday & Wednesday join us for lunch at one of the hotels or clubs in our region.

'Art 4 Everyone' is a great way to learn how to draw and paint or pick up a hobby you once had. Suitable for all levels!

Tuesdays is the Vital Moves gentle exercise class - exercises are modified to suit each individual - come and give it a try.

Wednesdays we alternate between an activity group or visiting a local venue for lunch.

We also a host a fun craft group, enjoy day trips around our beautiful region including Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie, the Vineyards and often take in a variety concert and lunch.

The Friday Social Group enjoys entertainment, mystery outings, themed events, trivia, raffles and includes morning tea and lunch.

Once a month we host a Friday Mystery Outing and play a guessing game on the bus to find out where you are going! Previous mystery outings have included the Chocolate Shop at Peterson's, Ducks in the Field, a barbecue lunch, to see a movie or a shopping trip. Lunch is included.
