Food Services - (Meals on Wheels)
The need to have adequate nutritional intake for people who are housebound is vital. Our delivered meal services can assist to provide this. We offer a range of meals, snacks, desserts and fruit juice, delivered to your door daily. We are also able to provide meals to cover weekends and public holidays on request.
People can also choose the flexibility of frozen meals that can be delivered, stored and reheated at a convenient time. This enables the person to select meals according to appetite and to choose when to eat.
We cater for people with diabetes, gluten intolerance, chewing or swallowing difficulties and many other special dietary requirements.
We also offer a Community Restaurant service 2 days per week where clients can come into the centre and dine with others.
How do I access your meals on wheels service and what is the cost?
- You can refer yourself or referrals may be made by a relative, carer, friend, GP or any other service.
- You will be assessed for eligibility.
