Domestic Assistance

Being able to keep your home clean and safe can become more difficult as physical restrictions occur with age. While it is helpful to maintain as much independence as possible, there comes a time when some cleaning tasks become more than a person can safely continue e.g. Cleaning showers or baths & vacuuming floors.

Sometimes people can be housebound and unable to do shopping or paying bills as a result of their health or mobility.

Having someone come in and help with these tasks can lift a considerable burden from someone who is unable to continue to do these things for themselves.

We provide basic housecleaning services:

Vacuuming
Mopping
Cleaning bathrooms
Toilets
Hanging washing out
Ironing
Making beds and changing bed linen
Cleaning benches down

We also provide shopping by list and bill paying services.

How do I access your domestic assistance service and what is the cost?

You can refer yourself or referrals may be made by a relative, carer, friend, GP or any other service.
You will be assessed for eligibility.
