Our Sponsors & Sources of Funding

We receive funding from Department of Ageing, Disability & Homecare through the Home and Community Care Program as well as funding from Ministry of Transport through the Community Transport Program.

Home & Community Care Program funding is provided for:

  • frail or at risk aged people with moderate or severe disabilities
  • younger people with disabilities
  • the carers of those people

Services are provided to enable these people to remain in their own home and avoid premature or inappropriate admission to residential care.

Community Transport Program funding is provided for people living in the community who are transport disadvantaged:

  • due to poor mobility, a temporary mobility disability or who are socially isolated
  • who live in an isolated area where there is limited public transport
  • who are pre school age travelling with an adult
  • who are up to the age of 17 years and unable to access mainstream public transport

Maitland Community Care Services Inc. gratefully acknowledge the following Government Departments, Organisations and civically minded Private Donors for their support, without which we would we not be able to provide the level of service Maitland deserves.  Please click on these links provided to access the websites and information for these organisations and sponsors.
